Job Description:


 

We are looking for a Junior Firmware Engineer to join our team, focusing on supporting BIOS-related new features and projects for renowned domestic and international OEMs (e.g., Lenovo, DELL, HP, ASUS).

Key responsibilities:

  • Participate in the development and maintenance of BIOS functional modules for Desktop/Mobile products or server platforms of major internet companies:
    a. Assist in the reproduction, testing, and troubleshooting of daily issues.
    b. Contribute to the definition and development of new features.
    c. Support the regular release and maintenance of functional modules.
    d. Assist in the porting and adaptation of modules based on mainstream Intel/AMD platforms.
    e. Support requirement assessment, feasibility analysis, and workload estimation for BIOS feature customization and NRE projects.

  • Provide on-site support based on new feature development.

  • Complete a structured learning and training program during the first 3 months to quickly build up technical skills and domain knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related fields. Candidates from 211/985 universities are strongly preferred.

  • Fresh graduates with outstanding academic performance and scholarship recipients are highly preferred.

  • Proficient in C programming, with a solid foundation in programming logic and data structures. Prior awards in C programming or related algorithm competitions are a strong plus.

  • Demonstrated hands-on project experience in embedded systems, firmware, or relevant coursework is highly preferred.

  • CET-4 is required; CET-6 is highly preferred. Capable of reading English technical documents and conducting basic spoken communication.

  • Solid understanding of computer architecture and basic programming principles.

  • Ability to work under pressure, flexible to company arrangements, and willing to travel for business and on-site support.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with x86/ARM/RISC-V architecture and UEFI BIOS concepts.

  • Familiarity with firmware development and industry-standard protocols such as I2C, UART, USB and PCIe.

  • Knowledge of EDK II, Driver Interfaces, Library Classes, and UEFI Protocols.
