Job Description:

We are looking for highly motivated fresh graduates who are passionate about computer architecture, firmware development, and low-level system software to join our BIOS Platform Porting Team.

As a Junior BIOS Platform Porting Engineer, you will participate in Intel and AMD platform BIOS development projects, working closely with experienced engineers on platform bring-up, BIOS porting, debugging, and validation activities. This role provides an excellent opportunity to build deep expertise in UEFI BIOS, platform architecture, firmware development, and server/client computing systems. The team primarily focuses on CRB platform development, chipset porting, platform enablement, and BIOS issue debugging.

Responsibilities

1. BIOS Platform Development and Porting

• Participate in BIOS development and platform porting projects for Intel and AMD platforms.

• Assist in platform bring-up, BIOS build verification, and system boot validation.

• Learn and contribute to BIOS module integration and platform-specific customization.

• Support BIOS feature validation and regression testing activities.

2. BIOS Debugging and Issue Analysis

• Reproduce issues reported by validation teams and customers.

• Analyze debug logs, serial logs, and system behaviors to identify root causes.

• Assist in troubleshooting BIOS-related issues and implementing fixes.

• Track and maintain development tasks using issue management tools.

3. Platform Architecture Learning and Development

• Learn UEFI BIOS architecture and firmware development fundamentals.

• Develop knowledge of CPU, memory, PCIe, storage, USB, and platform initialization flows.

• Gain exposure to Intel and AMD platform architectures.

• Understand server and client platform development processes.

4. Team Collaboration

• Work closely with local and global engineering teams.

• Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

• Support project development and delivery activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems or related technical disciplines

• Solid programming skills in C.

• Good understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms and Computer Organization and Architecture

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to read and understand English technical documentation.

• CET-4 or equivalent English proficiency.

• Target Audience: 2025/2026 Graduates / Entry-Level Candidates.
